Joe Pluff got into music at the early age of 4.  Raised on the great 70's music his early influences are Fleetwood Mac, Daryl Hall and John Oats, The Eagles, Elton John, The Bee Gee's, Cheap Trick, Journey, Van Halen, The Rolling Stones, Zepplin, Rush and so on.  By the mid 70's, when KISS hit the circuit, that’s when Joe knew what he wanted to do.  At the age of 12 he got his first guitar and it has been his love ever since.  Then the 80's came and he was further influenced by Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Ratt, Dokken, Ozzy, Def Leppard, Dio, Triumph, Queensryche, AC/DC, and STRYPER.  Joe served in the armed forces as a mechanic in the mid-80’s and began working as a mechanic afterwards, eventually starting his own business, “Mustangs and More”.   Joe met his beautiful wife Kathy shortly after the armed forces and has been happily married since.  He has three beautiful kids, Chelsea, Anthony and Ali.  Joe believes that through God, all things are possible.

Currently Joe plays in the band "For The Broken" and, in addition to being a Lund Guitars endorsed artist, he is also endorsed by Daddario, Dunlop , and Seymour Duncan.  For The Broken continues to tour the Midwest regularly and have opened for bands such as P.O.D., Chevelle, LA guns, Steven Addler, Drowning Pool, and Mark Tremonti… to name a few.
